Milestone of Faith: IEM’s 60th Anniversary and New Headquarters

One of our cherished members for many years of our network, the Indian Evangelical Mission (IEM), is celebrating this year its 60th anniversary, marking six decades of faithful service in evangelism and mission work across India and further afield. Today, 24th February, they will commemorate this milestone with a special day of prayer, coinciding with the birthday of their founder, Dr. Theodore Williams. This is a moment of gratitude and reflection on God’s faithfulness in sustaining and expanding their mission.

A major highlight of their Diamond Jubilee celebrations was the dedication of their new headquarters in December 2024. The event took place alongside IEM’s National Convention, bringing together missionaries, retired missionaries, supporters, and believers from across the country. The new facility, which includes offices, residential space for missionaries, training rooms, and a library, stands as a testament to years of prayer, dedicated fundraising, and unwavering faith in God’s provision. It is a significant step forward in strengthening IEM’s mission efforts.

During the celebrations, IEM also launched a special publication titled Exceedingly More, a book that chronicles the 60-year history of the mission. Produced by Shobana Nelson, who serves as the Editor of Outreach (the well-received IEM monthly newsletter), this book reflects on God’s work through IEM and the many lives transformed by their ministry. The release of this historical account is an inspiring reminder of IEM’s unwavering commitment to sharing the Gospel and meeting the needs of communities across India.

The Faith2Share team extends its heartfelt congratulations to IEM on their 60th anniversary and the realisation of their new headquarters. We pray for their continued impact in the years ahead, as they remain steadfast in their mission, bringing the hope of the Gospel across India. May God continue to bless and guide them as they step into this new decade of ministry.
