As Ramadan and the annual Christian 30 Days of Prayer for the Muslim World comes to a close, Faith2Share reflects on the power of prayer to bring people of different faiths together. For over 30 years, this annual prayer initiative and guide has inspired Christians worldwide to learn about, love, and pray for their Muslim neighbours. There are nearly 2 billion Muslims in the world, and like Christians, many are living in struggling countries with ethnic, political and religious challenges -- so faith and prayer is important.

At Faith2Share, we believe in the transformative impact of collaborative prayer. Many of our member organizations have participated in this 30-day prayer initiative, joining millions of Christians globally to prayer for Muslim world and those within their own communities As the Bible reminds us, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7). With over 2.3 billion Christians worldwide, our united prayers have the power to make a profound difference.

While the 30 Days of Prayer for Muslims is concluding, we now look ahead to the 5 Days of Prayer for Sikhs during the celebration of Vaisakhi from April 10-14, 2024. This prayer guide will equip Christians to pray with love and respect for the over 28 million Sikh people worldwide, while exploring their faith, culture, needs and concerns.

We encourage all in the Faith2Share community to take part in these meaningful prayer guides, whether for the Muslim world or the Sikh faith. May our hearts and voices join together to seek God's grace and blessing for people of all backgrounds and beliefs.
