Faith2Share Welcomes New Regional Coordinator for Africa

Faith2Share is delighted to announce the appointment of Capt. Bernard Irungu as our new Regional Coordinator for Africa. Based in Nairobi, Kenya, Bernard will play a key role in strengthening Faith2Share’s coordination efforts among our network members across the continent, with a particular focus on Kenya, where several of our members are located.

We warmly welcome Capt. Irungu to the Faith2Share team and look forward to the impact he will bring to our network and the wider mission community.

About Capt. Bernard Irungu

Capt. Bernard Irungu is a dedicated, born-again Christian based in Nairobi, Kenya. As the firstborn in a family of two, he has been deeply involved in ministry from an early age. An Anglican by faith, he previously served as an evangelist in the ACK Mt. Kenya Central Diocese before pursuing theological training with Church Army Africa. Currently, Capt. Irungu serves as the Director of Missions and Associate Chaplain at Church Army Africa and is also a tutor at Carlile College Faculty of Theology. He holds a Diploma in Theology from Carlile College and is furthering his studies with a Bachelor of Theology at Africa International University.

With a passion for emerging mission trends and evangelism, Capt. Irungu is committed to fostering collaboration among different Christian traditions. His work extends beyond traditional ministry to include peacebuilding, leadership training, and equipping clergy for transformative service. His experience spans multiple regions, having successfully implemented mission projects in Kenya, Tanzania, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
