Faith2Share's Continued Prayers and Support for Myanmar's Christian Community

Since 2015, Faith2Share has been privileged to build meaningful relationships with Christian communities in Myanmar. We were fortunate to be able to conduct in-country consultations in Yangon, Myanmar's largest city. Through these efforts, we've provided vital support and training, while also facilitating the participation of Myanmar's Christians in global conferences and events. These connections have been a source of mutual encouragement and spiritual growth.

However, the ongoing political turmoil in Myanmar has cast a shadow over these cherished relationships. The military coup of February 2021 has ushered in a period of increased violence and tightened restrictions, disproportionately affecting minority communities, including Christians. Many believers face displacement, with some forced to seek refuge in churches, camps, or even the jungle.

The situation has made it increasingly challenging for Myanmar's Christians to maintain their connections with the outside world. Despite these obstacles, Faith2Share remains steadfast in our commitment to our brothers and sisters in Christ. We continue to monitor the situation closely, fervently praying for their safety, strength, and perseverance. We pray that God may work in the hearts of those in power to bring about positive change.

We look forward with hope to the day when we can once again freely support and fellowship with our Myanmar partners in person. Until then, we remain committed to supporting them through prayer, advocacy, and any means available to us. May our relationships continue to flourish, even in these challenging times, as we trust in God's unfailing love and sovereignty.
