“The first time our team went there to share the gospel, the women and children kept their distance from us,” says Ngozi of Faith2Share member Church of Nigeria Missionary Society. “Only the young men and one older man came to listen and ask questions. About forty-four of the young people prayed to accept Jesus. They were subsistence farmers and always wore dirty clothes. After some of them accepted the gospel, we saw internal and external transformation. Many of them now testify to God’s power through healing and recovery from snake bites. They also now take literacy seriously and many of their young people go to school. It’s so encouraging and exciting to see the impact the gospel has had on them.”

Faith2Share stresses the importance of whole-life discipleship. This story from CNMS is an excellent example of new Christians learning to follow Jesus and experience His power in every area of their lives.
