"Noel en Sante" has been the message that missionaries in Chad have been taking to the people of Domballa for the past few days. It means "Healthy Christmas". The missionaries from the Church of Nigeria Missionary Society (CNMS, part of the Anglican Church) planned this special programme to show that the Saviour whom we receive at Christmas brings us health and wholeness. During the programme local people received medical assistance, new clothes and soap, food assistance and textbooks for teaching the children. Medical staff were able to offer screening, consultations, vaccination, and basic medical care. On the 26 December there was a celebration with time for games and relaxation with the children. CNMS, a member agency of Faith2Share is committed to holistic mission which includes spiritual ministry as well as practical help. Anglican mission work began in Chad Republic, one of the poorer countries of Central Africa, in 2005.
