Standing in Prayer and Solidarity with Myanmar and Thailand

Join Faith2Share in praying for our brothers and sisters in Myanmar and Thailand affected by the recent 7.7-magnitude earthquake, which has caused widespread destruction and loss of life.

We have received reports from our members and partners in the affected areas seeking our prayers and support. The Rt Rev David Nyi Nyi Naing, Bishop of Mandalay in the Church of the Province of Myanmar (CPM), is reported to be safe, but the situation in Mandalay remains severe. Tremors also reached Bangkok, where Rev Isaac Lasky, from Mission Base Asia, has assured our member, the New Anglican Missionary Society (NAMS), that their community, though shaken, is safe, though their church suffered significant damage.

In this time of crisis, we stand in prayer and solidarity with the people of Myanmar and Thailand. May God bring them peace and healing and strengthen those offering help and support.

We will continue to share updates as we receive them. Please join us in lifting up Myanmar and Thailand in your prayers today.
