Teacher, your seminar is not the main thing

After working hard on preparation, a teacher doesn’t want to hear that the seminar was not the major blessing. But when the seminar is on the subject of family life and the feedback praises their parenting, then it’s a job well done.

"More than the teaching, I have been blessed by seeing their family life. I am touched by the way they have nurtured their children." This was Raj Kumar's response after attending a family life seminar run by Faith2Share member AsiaCMS. The seminar was attended by 70 couples and 30 singles and featured topics such as the roles of husband and wife, communication, expectations, and the foundations of a successful marriage. Whole-life discipleship is an important theme for Faith2Share and this is the focus of our network's Depth Discipleship consultations in various regions of the world.

Raj Kumar is from a poor and challenging background but is now the principal of a high school in central Nepal and one of the leaders of a 500-strong church. He has a deep desire to help families who are struggling and the family life seminar was organized in response to his initiative. He wants to see every family flourish through healthy relationships.

Please pray for Raj Kumar and his wife Sita. Thank God for the ministry of AsiaCMS in helping families to follow Christ in every area of their lives.
